Being a Trusted Trader matters to us

We’ve been proud to be approved as a Fife Trusted Trader for a few years now.  We believe is gives our customers confidence that we are not some fly by night shifty outfit only in it for the quick buck.  We’ve always cared about our customers, always have and always will and being approved for this
scheme is our demonstration of commitment.

To be part of the scheme a business has to be fully vetted by Trading Standards and agree to adhere to the code of practice.   The vetting process is rigorous with both the business and the business owner coming under extremely close scrutiny.  If you wish you can see just how detailed here

At the bottom of that page though is the disclaimer of limitations which include quality of workmanship.  Being a Trusted Trader is not an automatic guarantee that you will get first-class service.

But here’s the good news. We were checking back on our records for 2019 and realised something quite significant which left us feeling more than a little proud.

During the vetting process, we met Trading Standards Officers and a representative from Police Scotland. Nice, helpful people and we got on well with everyone.  But we must have left an even better impression than we realised because over the course of 2019 we’ve actually supplied services to all 3 of those who vetted us.

All in a Day’s Work at Active Pest Solutions

We dealt with:

• Rats which had invaded a garden
• Mice which had found their way into a home
• Wasps which had built a nest on a roof

All in a days work for Active Pest Solutions of course.  It is very heartening that we were chosen first from amongst our many competitors and we delivered happy customers again.
